The sound design is perfect and also contributes greatly to surround systems. Loading times, saves, area changes are flawless and it deserves a 10 for this. The tech engine is good, I had no fps downs, no bugs, no bluescreen on my PS5. It is a really intense presentation and for me one of the best in terms of action horror. I personally think this game deserves a 9 or 10 in terms of presentation and atmosphere. Second I bought it on a sale for 20 bucks. To start with a clean slate: I know content was cut, but I never played the original so my opinion is based on what I got. Really grateful to have been able to play this reimagined version of this classic that I never got to play the original of. Great standalone game and great follow-up to RE2 Remake which is one of my favourite games of all time. Really don't agree with people complaining about the length and comparing this to DLC.

Game had great atmosphere.īoss fights were pretty good, the only downside being Nemesis is pretty much the only boss you fight in the game albeit in all his different forms.

Traversing through the city was really cool, going into all sorts of different buildings really give you a sense of trying to escape the city that feels abandoned but still dangerous. Story was decent, pretty standard for Resident Evil and no big twists. One of the best looking games I have ever played. Graphics are incredibly stunning and the game ran very smoothly on the 6900XT.

Movement felt very fluid and the gunplay was flawless. Had the excellent controls and mechanics of RE2 Remake and it was a joy to play. Thoroughly enjoyed the game and will definitely replay it at some point.
